The cottage under the belfry was created from a desire to preserve the original character of a traditional rural house in Banský Studenec and at the same time open it to visitors seeking peace and an authentic atmosphere. The original house, where the cottage is now located, once belonged to a local family who made their living working in the forest and in the nearby mines. It stood abandoned for many years until the decision was made to breathe new life into it and turn it into a place of relaxation. The renovation began with respect for the history of the village and the traditional architecture of the region.
